DULUTH, MN—Duluth-based law firm Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick, P.A. recently announced the addition of attorney Aaron Bransky.
Bransky was born in Chicago and grew up in Peoria, Illinois. He moved to Wisconsin to pursue his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Bransky remained in Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School where he earned his juris doctor degree with honors.
In 1990, Bransky and his wife Barb relocated to Duluth and they have lived here ever since. Bransky primarily focuses his practice on Estate Planning and Elder Law and has been selected to Super Lawyers multiple times, including in 2002, 2004, 2012, and 2020–2024. He’s deeply passionate about his work, particularly long-term care planning, and finds it rewarding to help clients navigate important life situations.
“I feel great about it,” Bransky said about joining Fryberger. “My clients will have access to a broad range of legal expertise in the kinds of bread-and-butter areas that people need help with.”
Bransky joins the firm as an “of counsel” attorney, allowing him to mentor and share his knowledge with the rest of the team.

When Bransky isn’t practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown children. He enjoys bicycling, playing musical instruments, stargazing, and is passionate about public transportation and urban transit.
