Friday, November 18th was the 58th anniversary of the Christmas City of the North Parade. Friday, November 18th was also the first snow storm of the season; it was a cold, windy, and wet evening. Due to the extreme weather, several parade participants dropped out and attendance was down by quite a bit. For the fourteenth year, the firm passed out free hot chocolate and cookies to parade spectators on the corner of Third Avenue West and Superior Street. Because of the especially terrible weather, people seemed extra grateful for the treats. Thank you to Matt Hanka, Tom Witt, John Gasele, Melissa Maloney, Eric Johnson, Mia Thibodeau, Chris Virta, Dante Tomassoni, and Rita Hansel for braving the cold!
